When it has to melt, and melt fast.
PELADOW™ Premier Snow and Ice Melter is 90% calcium chloride in a round pellet. Calcium chloride releases heat as it dissolves, so it starts working on contact and keeps working down to roughly −25°F — far below the practical floor for rock salt. The round pellet shape drills straight down through ice and punches through to the pavement, which means less product per square foot than flake or blended de-icers. Supplied in 50 lb and 30 lb bags, FOB North Brunswick, NJ, by the pallet or the truckload.
